Minimum viable prototype

Again, in my conversation with my computer science friend, he was talking about his past working experience in an entrepreneurship school. He was saying that one of the concept entrepreneurship which is also big is minimum viable prototype. So, he was talking about another aspect of prototypes.

He was saying that in a big business, we get leading indicators from some of the other parts of the business, but in a small business, we only have a few people. So, we need to get market validation and people make prototypes because it is getting much easier, so, people get faster and faster so they make minimum viable prototype so that they can see if they got any market fees. So, that is when we do not make any features at all, just a very minimum, just to see if the idea is good or bad. And then we put it on the internet and will show it to potential customers, beta testers, and we will see where the pain points are.
