Five Ways to Organize Information

By reading the book “In Information anxiety” by Wurman, it mentions that LATCH, Including Location, Alphabet, Time, Category, and Hierarchy.

When you have raw data and information, usually people are hard to find the key point of it. So organizing information becomes more important when people need to use information into useful information. Sorting information is a hard and experienced job for information architecture, each soring part has similar characteristic.

These design principles are great to organize information for good user experience. when a mount of information come, it is hard to get useful idea from these raw information. most time, people more like to see information by category. they like to see sorted category, and sub-category in design.
